About the Role
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00AM to 5:30PM*
(Hybrid Schedule: 2 days at office & 3 days work from home)
Compensation: $72,000/YR (Non-exempt) + benefits
Job duties include:
Assists in preparing & performing month end close and financial records
Updates leasing office monthly & yearly rent schedule
Assists in annual audit preparation by leading & coordinating various requests from the third-party auditor
Assists & performs annual tax estimate & extension work with CPA firm
Leads daily accounting operations
Supervises the Accounting Assistant positions
Manages the fixed assets balance & assets control
Monitors all pre-payments
Reconciles monthly company banks
Corresponds with HR FSA reconciliation
Assists & supports tax audits as needed
Performs Accounting system’s, Prologue, month & year end closing
Performs Daily, Monthly General Ledger
Performs Monthly International Card User Activity Ledger
Perform & Supervise Year End Audit Request ledger account
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Must have 5-10 years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to direct and supervise
