About the Role

Location: Walnut, CA (Hybrid Remote; 2 days at office & 3 days work from home)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/HR (DoE) + benefits


Job duties:

  • Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints

  • Understand requirements for each event

  • Book venues and other necessary rooms

  • Research vendors for quality and costs

  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve favorable terms

  • Arrange and run booths at events/conventions

  • Manage all event operations

  • Do final checks at the day of event to ensure everything meets standards

  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems

  • Provide customer support on site at events/conventions as well as via email

  • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports

Requirements

  • Past experience in event coordination required

  • Strong PC and MS Office skills

  • Excellent vendor management skills

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

  • Able to handle stress and remain calm

  • Problem-solving ability

  • Knowledge/interest in the anime/gaming industry is a plus!
