About the Role
Location: Irvine, CA (full office commute required)
Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm; 30 hours per week
Compensation: $19.50 - $23.50/HR + benefits
Job duties include:
General affairs and administrative functions including office/kitchen upkeep, recordkeeping and handling of in-coming/out-bound calls, emails, mail/deliveries
Sort, maintain and update corporate files and documents
Order and organize office supplies
Handle documents, orders and requests submitted from various departments
Data entry of documents submitted to department using excel spreadsheets and accounting system
Prepare invoices/payments in accounting system and verify transactions with supporting documents
Assist with employee relations
Assist other departments as necessary
Assist company events and any day to day operation of Department Manager/Coordinator
Requirements
Bilingual in Japanese/English
Must have 1-3 years of general business (preferably administrative) experience
Strong PC and MS office skills
Ability to identify and solve problems and take appropriate actions
Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and mathematical abilities
Must be able to communicate respectfully with everyone
Must be able to work independently with little supervision and also with a team
General knowledge in corporate business practices and employment practices preferred
