About the Role

Location: Torrance, CA

Shift: Must be available to work 4 hours shift (5:00AM – 9:00AM or 2:00PM – 6:00PM) or 8 hour shifts as well as weekends and holidays

Compensation: $16.00/HR - $18.00/HR (Non-Exempt) + benefits


Job Duties:

Assist Vice President in all aspects of customer services. (Personal line, Group Benefits, Commercial line); issue certificate, auto ID card; prepare invoice and application; communicate with customers, insurance companies, and vendors both in Japanese and English; claim handling and support; help preparation of presentation materials for customers; premium accounting and agency billing


Requirements

Bilingual in Japanese/English; proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; organizational skills and attention to detail; proficient PC and MS Office skills; strong communication skills
