About the Role
Location: Los Angeles, CA Industry: Service Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00AM to 6:00PM (availability outside of scheduled hours may be required) Compensation:$63,000/YR ~(DoE); exempt + benefits
Job duties include:
Conduct daily inspections of facilities, performing and scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed
Assist with furniture restoration and lighting maintenance
Report any issues or needs to the Facilities Manager and discuss the most appropriate course of action for rectifying the issues
Set up the facility with tables, chairs, stage, lights, and such for various events; dismantle and store the items after the events
Become knowledgeable about the use of the facility's audiovisual equipment and guide the users as needed
Transport materials such as furniture, paperwork, etc., between different locations within the facilities
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining files, processing paperwork, data input, and assistance scheduling contractors
Communicate effectively with the Facilities Manager and peers by telephone, written correspondence, email, or in person
Provide support to the management team and other departments as required
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be bilingual in Japanese/English
Past experience and strong knowledge of facilities management operations
Excellent critical thinking skills; sound judgement and ability to think quickly during emergencies
Ability to interact effectively with coworkers and customers
Strong PC and MS Office skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure
Must hold a valid California driver’s license
