About the Role
Location: Pasadena, CA (Monday – Thursday: Office commute, Friday: Remote available)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000/YR + benefits
Job duties:
Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, etc.
Communicate with head office in Japan as well as local customers and vendors
Conduct inside sales tasks and provide excellent customer service
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
Requirements
Must be bilingual in Japanese/English
Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position
Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
Working knowledge of office devices and processes
A fast typist with knowledge in stenography and taking dictations
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication skills
Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
