About the Role

Location:  Pasadena, CA (Monday – Thursday: Office commute, Friday: Remote available)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM

Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000/YR + benefits


Job duties:

  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, etc.

  • Communicate with head office in Japan as well as local customers and vendors

  • Conduct inside sales tasks and provide excellent customer service

  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

  • Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management 

Requirements

Must be bilingual in Japanese/English

Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position

Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles

Working knowledge of office devices and processes

A fast typist with knowledge in stenography and taking dictations

Very good knowledge of MS Office

Excellent communication skills

Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
