About the Role
Location: Fremont, CA
Industry: Trading (Japanese consumer goods)
Salary: up to 60K, exempt (Depending on experience); Plus bonus depending on company performance; Company car will be provided
Shift: Monday to Friday (may need to work weekends)
Employment Status: Full-Time; Direct-Hire
Job duties include:
Responsible for maintenance and development of customer accounts
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
Communicate daily with customers
Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and uses
Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
Provide customers with product samples and catalogs
Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms
Collect payment
Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
Travel to customer's location (by air, company car or by public transportation)
While visiting the customer's location, maintain presentable condition assigned areas (May require stocking work)
Other duties as required to support on-going sales and other branch operational needs
Requirements
Must be bilingual in Japanese/English or Chinese/English
Must have driver's license
Driving records must meet company's requirement
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
