About the Role
Location: Torrance, CA Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000/YR (DoE); + benefits + bonus (including company car)
Main responsibilities are:
Increase profits by achieving sales targets and operating within budgetary guidelines
Communicate with or visit current and potential customers to increase sales
Research and identify potential customers; Conduct cold calls to new contacts
Analyze sales trends and operating efficiency, product presentations and best practices in order to maximize profit
Manage and expand customer accounts by contacting customers regularly via telephone, email, letters and in person to ascertain needs and keep business and information flowing smoothly
Attend “house” shows as necessary to introduce new products
Visit customers to pick up repairs, deliver orders, collecting payments, following up on past due accounts
Provide price quotes, proposals and credit terms to current and prospective customers
Make presentations about products and identity customer needs or problems in a timely manner
Perform marketing functions by following up on all product sales leads and inquiries
Represent the company by attending trade shows and other events to grow the company’s business
Requirements
Must have 2-3 years of outside sales experience
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Proficient PC, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Great Plains
Understanding of Asian culture
Bilingual in English/Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus
