About the Role
Location: Los Angeles, CA Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000/YR + benefits
Employment Status: Full-Time; Direct-Hire
Job duties include:
Manages internal and external relations with related parties, payment processors, hardware and software vendors to identify and forecast key effective payment products/solutions to guide management decision
Manages development, test, certification and implementation to ensure product availability, to assist business development in cost effective method
Provide technical and infrastructure support to other business units to assist
Manages business, budget and technical direction including semi annual objectives for a team of 4-6 payments professionals
Provides technical support to overseas office regarding technology standards – hardware, software, processes and programs.
Represents Company’s interest in EMVCo and PCI SSC activities and deliver timely updates to overseas headquarters
Oversees various activities of EMVCo and PCI SSC, as well as directly participating and contributing to working groups as per assigned
Conducts technical, business and management discussions with other payment systems, EMVCo/PCI SSC staff, laboratories, and vendors, etc. in order to support the development of Company’s technology related strategy
Requirements
Must have minimum of 10 years experience in payments industry;
Posses in-depth technical knowledge of functional and security aspects of digital online commerce
General knowledge of EMV contactless, NFC payments, open loop transit required
Possess good knowledge and skills in the area of business communication including negotiation, and effective presentation skills.
Ability to direct and manage a team of 4-6 payments professionals to ensure agreed upon objectives are achieved
