About the Role

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid or full remote available after 3 month training) Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/HR (DoE); Non-Exempt + benefits

Job duties include:

  • Promptly and professionally process all customer orders and quotation inquiries pursuant to Company policies and procedures, elevating unresolved issues to management as needed

  • Participate in all order and data entry functions and all related customer service issues

  • Communicate daily with all customers by phone, email, fax, and/or in person as needed to address each customer’s needs in a prompt and professional manner

  • Communicate daily with all vendors by phone, email, fax, and/or in person as needed to address each customer’s quotation or open orders.

  • Review and make any needed corrections to one’s own and co-workers’ work

  • Solicit sales of new products and accessories whenever possible

  • Interact with all internal departments, including external sales, and work closely and assist sales engineers as needed

  • Enter and maintain current, accurate documentation and files on all customers, distributors, and potential customers within the given sales team. Enter and maintain all data, including customer and sales data

  • Assist the Accounts Receivable Department in collecting delinquent payments as requested

  • Assist in yearly inventory count of products stored in the warehouse

  • Assist in Spanish to English/ English to Spanish translations

  • Must have at least 1-2 years of customer service experience

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Great time management and organizational skills

  • Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Trilingual in English/Spanish/Japanese is a plus!
