About the Role

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote) Compensation: $72,000 - $73,000/YR (Exempt) + benefits


Job duties include:


  • Identify sales and enablement pipelines within assigned territory

  • Identify and update number of company’s merchants and nonmember’s status with the use of internal database

  • Maintain database of merchant information such as acquiring information on terminal information

  • Enable new merchants to accept company’s credit cards in assigned areas

  • Identify quality recruitment sources and networks

  • Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts; set up new accounts information, and resolves customer issues/problems

  • Assist merchants to Resolve POS issues when necessary

  • Coordinates with ISO’s and payment intermediaries to enable company’s merchants in the assigned territory

  • Provide POS brand materials, displays, etc. at merchant sites; work with marketing group on promotions and brand visibility opportunities within assigned territory

  • Collect, interpret, evaluate and summarize information for the purpose of reporting to senior company management, partners and investors to assist with the decision-making process

  • May attend outside meetings such as company group meetings, seminars, conventions and conferences for both information sharing and learning purposes

  • Plan, coordinate and prepare both routine and special requested reports, surveys, research information, and presentations related to functional work activities; use internal database for reporting

  • Communicate and coordinate information on a regular basis with other staff and management

Requirements

  • Must have between 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the merchant bankcard industry

  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and team management skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills

  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
