About the Role
Location: Irvine, CA OR Teterboro, NJ
Compensation: $20.67/HR (Non-Exempt) + bonus (around $5,000) + benefits
*There will also be paid overtime
Job duties include:
Responsible for the preparation and testing of products, including purchasing ingredients, machine set up, quality control, and reporting in order to provide better quality of products by using company's equipment
Correspond to customers’ questions/claims about anything technical by phone or email
Arrange packing and shipping of samples, machines, and parts
Ensure all lab machines, equipment, supplies, ingredients, and area are kept clean and
organized
Frequent traveling for the installation of equipment and inspection of machines,
products, processes
Submit trip reports (hand over certification with customer’s signature and expense
report)
Attend exhibitions, local seminars, etc. when necessary to showcase company products
Send daily short reports to the manager by email
Order ingredients, supplies, etc.
Requirements
Past experience as a technician
Past experience working in bakery is preferred
Must be available for frequent business trip (Canada and US)
May need to work some weekends and holidays
Must be able to handle customers in a sincere friendly manner
Able to work independently and take action
